Dual-Color Sheet for Hinged Containers and Displays
The PP/PET Dual-Color Sheet Extrusion Line creates side-by-side coextruded structures with adjustable stripe width. Applications include hinged food-packaging containers for salads, bakery goods and eggs, as well as point-of-purchase displays.
The processing description includes PP, PET and HIPS resins. Available die arrangements include multimanifold dies, single-manifold dies and configurations without coextrusion feedblocks. The PET/PP equipment specification lists a 100β120 mm extruder, 600 kg/hr capacity and 40 m/min line speed, with widths of 600β1,000 mm and thicknesses of 0.2β2.0 mm.
Three chill rollers of 300β450 mm diameter, two screen changers, melt metering, thickness scanning, silicone coating and drying, trimming and winding are included in the listed arrangement. For a dual-color machinery quotation, select the resin and required stripe pattern together; side-by-side color distribution is a different requirement from the layer-thickness adjustment of the PP/HIPS multilayer family.
