PP/HIPS Layer and Sheet-Width Configuration
This PP/PS equipment family includes PP/HIPS models for double- and triple-layer sheet production. Layer thickness can be adjusted separately, while special deckles adjust sheet width. The machinery is designed to produce bright surfaces on both sides of the sheet.
The PP/HIPS equipment table lists a 100โ180 mm main extruder and 65โ100 mm co-extruder. Capacity is 200โ1,000 kg/hr, line speed is 40 m/min, sheet width is 600โ850 mm and product thickness is 0.2โ2.0 mm.
Three 300โ600 mm chill rollers form part of the line, together with melt screening, a gear pump, thickness scanning, haul-off, one silicone-coating unit and one drying unit, trimming, edge-sheet crushing and winding.
