From Recycled PET Bottle Flakes to Packaging Sheet
This extrusion line processes 100% recycled PET bottle flakes into PET sheet for transparent containers, molded trays, cups, lids and cake-box covers. The PET equipment specification lists a 100โ160 mm main extruder and 65โ90 mm co-extruder, output of 300โ1,200 kg/hr and a line speed of 60 m/min. The sheet range is 600โ1,450 mm wide and 0.2โ2.0 mm thick, with three chill rollers of 300โ600 mm diameter.
The line arrangement includes melt screening, a gear pump, thickness scanning, haul-off, silicone coating and drying, trimming, an edge-sheet crusher and winding. These process stages should be evaluated with the bottle-flake feedstock and required finished sheet.
